Paula, has been a professional orchardist for 11 years, and started her career at a large farm orchard, where she quickly progressed to Orchard Manager. Today, she is Head Orchard Gardener at Le Manoir Aux Quat 'Saisons, Raymond Blanc's organic orchard, where she works closely with nature to produce fruit for the Michelin star restaurant.

Zoom Talk: New Tricks for 'Old' Gardeners by Katherine Crouch
We will begin this meeting with a brief AGM at 7.15pm during which we will elect the new committee for 2026-2027 and review the progress made over the past year, followed by a Zoom talk by Katherine Couch. Katherine Couch is an acclaimed horticulturist who earned the title of BBC Gardener of the Year in 1999 and was later honoured as BBC Gardener of the Decade in 2008. Known for creativity and expertise, Katherine won Gold for her “Party Animal” design at the Taunton Flower Show in 2015, showcasing her flair for innovative garden design.

Louisa following a degree in Fine Art, started her working life in designing gardens as a second career. Founder of Cambridgeshire -based supernature Garden & Landscape she believes that beautiful, natural outdoor surroundings are a priority for healthy living.
Monday 6th April 2026 Gardeners Question Time
Andrew Harper Scott, Gardener at Coton Garden Centre and Tool Sharpening service offered (£5 donation per item for Cambridge Advanced Motorcyclists Charity)
Come along with your gardening questions or sickly and diseased plants (preferably in sealed bags!) for advice. Andrew, an experienced advisor will be very happy to help with your gardening conundrums. You can also bring your gardening tools along to be sharpened, cleaned, fixed and improved. Your tools will be disassembled down to component level and individual parts cleaned, blades sharpened, reassembled and finished with grease application. Definitely worth it! Please note all tools will be serviced but some may need to be taken away and returned to you after 2 weeks.

Friday 3rd July Fullers Mill, Bury St Edmunds
A seven-acre enchanting garden on the banks of the River Lark, blending woodland, perennial borders, and a riverside walk. Known for its rare plants and tranquil setting, it was created by Bernard Tickner and is now managed by Perennial, offering visitors a peaceful retreat and horticultural inspiration. Entry fee £10 (car share where possible), guests (+£5 fee)
